Shanghai, November 28th 2018-CreditEase Wealth Management received the Best Social Impact Project in Wealth and Society in China award at The Global Wealth and Society Awards 2018. The award ceremony was held in conjunction with the Wealth and Society China 2018, at the Waldorf Astoria, Shanghai.

Shanghai, November 28th 2018- CreditEase Wealth Management received the Best Social Impact Project in Wealth and Society in China award at The Global Wealth and Society Awards 2018. The award ceremony was held in conjunction with the Wealth and Society China 2018, at the Waldorf Astoria, Shanghai.

The London-based Global Wealth and Society Awards Programme seeks to recognise high and ultra-high net-worth individuals who use their wealth to bring about positive impacts on the society that they operate in, and the institutions that help them do so. Recipient of these awards underwent a stringent and comprehensive evaluation process, demonstrating the verve to deploy wealth in ways to bring about positive impacts on the society and at the same time make positive financial return on client investments.

CreditEase improved more than 20,000 farmers’ living condition through YiNongDai

In 2009, CreditEase launched Yinongdai platform where social activists lend money to rural borrowers in order todevelop productions, even the minimum loan of RMB 100 may change farmers’ living conditions significantly. In terms of "sustainable poverty alleviation", CreditEase innovated brand new charity mode through lending rather than donation, it not only realized the double harvest of spiritual poverty alleviation and material poverty alleviation, but also achieved combination of charity and commercial business.The lender symbolically receives 2% annual return.Up to now, there are 172,736 lenders and total amount of subsidy is over RMB300 million (USD43.22 million), benefited 26,143 farmers in total.

CreditEase strengthen investor education covering teenagers and HNWIs

For high-net-worth clients, CreditEase invites global high-end education experts to launch several outstanding oversea and domestic business courses and invite clients to world's top universities,visit leading companies, experience different culture and explore investment opportunities around the world. In addition, CreditEase launched charitable education project for teens called “the shell”. Through real-case business games, crafting and role playing to deliver financial knowledge such as saving, consumption, assets, liabilities, risk and credit to teenagers. “The shell” has covered in 30 provinces across China and benefit more than 30,000 students.

CreditEase customized charitable activities and family trust to high-net-worth clients

CreditEase launched the service of “family trust plus charity”, which integrates charity into family trust and makes continuous contributions to the society by means of income donation trust or charity sub-trust. Family inheritance not only contains the inheritance of wealth, but also spiritual inheritance. According to clients' charity preferences, CreditEase customized charity service include by not limited to environmental protection, animal protection, health, education, culture and poverty alleviation.
