William is a member of the Cadogan family, owners of The Cadogan Estate in Knightsbridge and Chelsea which has been in family ownership for some 300 years. He has excellent industry relationships and unique links with the London and UK wide family estates.
William is a founder and investment director of Trust Real Estate, a former investment banker with eight years at Cazenove and a Chartered Surveyor with ten years of experience in the industry. He is the UK-based director of Cadogan Estates (Australia) and a private investor with interests in the UK and overseas. Baron Rainer von Echlin, PhD

Baron Rainer von Echlin, after the sale of an interest in the family-owned car component manufacturer Napa-Echlin on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE : ECH), became in charge of the management of the family’s portfolio of assets. He also acts as a consultant to Central Banks in developing nations. His philanthropy interests are documented in his work in an environmental drive to clean up polluted lakes in Africa, and his long-standing involvement in Haiti, especially the creation and the continuous development of the use of Moringa Oleifera. Before that, he was responsible for the whole value chain of alternative investments and sales to institutional, wholesale, and private clients with firms such as most recently Bear Stearns (Set-up of BS Asset Management Europe), UBS Private Bank (global head of AI), RMF (CEO of research subsidiary), Salomon Brothers (head of sales D&CH). These senior roles at managing director level included marketing to UHNWI and various Board/Committee-memberships for family offices, banks, and pension funds. Prior to this, he survived an international career in derivative sales/product structuring /portfolio management at Merrill Lynch, and Credit Suisse in Germany, Japan, and Switzerland.

Frédéric Garcin

4th Generation Next Gen Member, Garcin Family, Monaco

Frédéric Garcin is the founder at Borderent, a real estate investment company focused on border regions. He is perpetuating a four-generation-old family tradition of real estate investments in and around Monaco through his own investments focused in various border regions diversified across Europe. In parallel, he is an advisor at a single-Family Office focusing on alternative investments. Frederic has 15 years of experience in the Hedge fund, Private equity, real estate, and Biotech space. As a principal at Argenthal Private Capital, he developed private equity projects based out of London after gaining experience as a European sales manager at Structured Retail Products Ltd advising mainly regulators. He worked in marketing with L’Oréal Giorgio Armani perfume, was also a strategic analyst in Milan for a merger project in the field of health insurance. He is a writer, an entrepreneur and thought leader in the future of the financial services industry and is the author of Finance after the pandemic, that sketches the future of the finance industry. Emmanuel set up Wealth and Society as a platform to influence the increasing number of ultra-high net worth individuals to direct their wealth towards building a sustainable and progressive society.

Dr Gordian Gaeta

Gordian Gaeta has been an investment consultant for more than 25 years. He has advised and served many of the leading financial services organisations across Asia and close to half of the top 100 banks worldwide. He specialises in developing and implementing analytical solutions for complex strategic issues in financial services-related industries undergoing significant change or being exposed to intricate risk issues. He is currently the principal of Leopard Capital. As chairman, he convenes the advisory boards in their core function of validating the matrices used in the programmes ratings, rankings and awards to ensure that they are conducted in a professional, impartial and accountable manner.

Robert Rubinstein

Advisory Board Member, Wealth & Society

Mr. Rubinstein, chairman and founder of TBLI Group Holdings, has been an integral thought leader for the Triple Bottom Line Investment Industry for many years. His mission, spearheaded by the organisation TBLI Group, is to create an inclusive values based economy. The aim is to maximise investment flows into sustainability initiatives by showing the opportunities triple bottom line investing offers to investors. For more than 20 years, TBLI Group has built the ecosystem for the Impact Investing and ESG community through advisory, educational and networking services.

Tim Schumacher

Investor, Serial Entrepreneur, Germany

Tim Schumacher is a German investor and entrepreneur, with a focus on impact and climate investments. For over ten years, he was the CEO of publicly traded Sedo.com, which he co-founded. Since 2012, he has founded and/or invested in multiple start-ups like Eyeo (makers of Adblock Plus), SaaS.group, Zolar, CarbonCloud, Sirplus, Pachama and Ecosia. Ecosia is especially notable. Ten years after its foundation, it's now the largest independent European search engine. It uses all its profits to plant trees, and it has until 2020 planted over 100 million trees. Under the roof of Ecosia, Tim Schumacher also very recently co-founded the Ecosia World Fund (see Worldfund.vc) with a focus on Climate Investments.

Michael Moquette

Michael Moquette is an accomplished banker and investment professional. After a long and distinguished career in international merchant and investment banking and wealth management, Michael took over Equinoxe Investments SA, a Geneva-based family office that has managed his family interests. Addressing a broad spectrum of business interests and being active in Private Equity and Direct Investments internationally, Michael is knowledgeable about the unique landscape and opportunities presented in Asia and Australasia due to his longstanding family interests and his former banking and advisory career. Prof Annie Koh

Professor Emeritus of Finance, Senior Advisor, Business Families Institute Singapore Management University

Professor Annie Koh is Professor Emeritus of Finance (Practice) at Lee Kong Chian School of Business, Singapore Management University (SMU). She chairs the Asian Bond Fund 2 supervisory committee for the Monetary Authority of Singapore and is a committee member of Singapore’s Customs Advisory Council, and a board member of Singapore Food Agency. Professor Koh is currently Chairman of Prime US REIT and an independent director of AMTD IDEA Group, Prudential Assurance Company Singapore Pte Ltd, Yoma Strategic Holdings Ltd and EtonHouse Community Fund (Charity). She previously served on GovTech, Singapore’s CPF, HMI, K1 Ventures boards, and was a member of the World Economic Forum Global Future Council and the HR Industry Transformation Advisory Panel.

Zita Nikoletta Verbényi

Zita Nikoletta Verbenyi is the founder and legacy aesthete at The Legacy Atelier™, and the 1st PhD candidate in family legacies. As a cultural scientist, she uniquely helps individuals and families capture, understand, articulate, frame, narrate, shape, preserve, showcase, re-energise, maximise, and transfer complex legacies, as well as ensure the longevity of these legacies via her bespoke legacy projects and advisory. She also creatively harnesses legacies to help enhance family anchoring, engagement, alignment, education, and inspiration in bespoke family governance, succession, and next-gen advisory works based on her multidisciplinary methodology. Sylvie Khau

3rd Gen Member, Managing Director, L'Excellence Diamond, Singapore

Sylvie Khau was born in Paris, in the heart of the finest jewellery arts and crafts, and she represents the 3 rd generation of the 70-year-old family enterprise, transmitting the long-lasting family passion and expertise in diamonds, precious gemstones and French fine jewellery. She is a regular speaker at gemmology workshops and gems investment seminars for corporates and financial institutions. Sylvie is also a board member at her family office.
In addition to being a Gemmology expert, Sylvie holds a double MSc degree in Management and Finance from EDHEC Business School. Prior to joining the family enterprise, Sylvie held several head of department positions in the investment banking arm of several international banking groups in Europe and Asia. She is also a polyglot, fluent in French, English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Teochew, and Japanese.

Sophie Khau

Sophie Khau is a 3rd generation member managing the family gem and jewellery company, L’Excellence Diamond. Sophie is passionate about sharing the family’s knowledge and expertise in diamonds, gems and French high jewellery. Being a Gemmology Expert, she assists clients in acquiring their ideal jewels whether it is for investment, legacy, celebration or enjoyment purposes. She is also a regular speaker at gemmology workshops and gem investment seminars for corporates and financial institutions. Sophie also oversees her family office’s investments in the alternative space. She holds an Msc in Management from HEC Paris Business School and completed diamond grading at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). She started her career in investment banking and private equity covering South East Asia.

Paula Salastie

4rd Generation Owner, CEO, Teknos Group, Finland

Paula Salastie is the CEO and 4th generation owner of Teknos Group Oy. Paula has the educational background in architectural drafting and economics as well as leadership. She has been working permanently in Teknos Group since 2004 in various position ranging from ERP migration, corporate governance creation, JV development, director of consumer products to chairman of the board and finally CEO since the past 8 years. Before her career in Teknos, Paula worked in food import company. On the side, Paula has been investing the family funds since 1992 (age 14) and finally through Pyramid invest Oy until 2010, when she gave the company up as part of the generation change. As a side business, Paula works as a chairman of a non-profit that creates housing for the underprivileged. In addition, she participates in the work on several organisation in coatings industry as well as promoting women in the industry.

Pepe Quintero Uriach

6th Generation Member, Uriach, Catalunya, Spain

Pepe Quintero Uriach is honored to be part of the sixth generation of the Uriach family, whose legacy dates back to the founding of Grupo Uriach in 1838 – one of the oldest family-owned pharmaceutical companies in Europe. Amongst the various branches of the family tree, he stands as the eldest cousin among twelve, cherishing the bonds that tie them together. His journey began in India in the BioTech sector. After that amazing experience, he moved to New York, where he took his first steps into the world of startups and entrepreneurship. His entrepreneurial career started in the fashion industry and later expanded to healthcare, driven by a desire to contribute positively to these sectors. As a serial entrepreneur, Pepe has had the privilege of nurturing various ventures, with each one serving as a stepping stone towards his current role as a Country Manager for a pioneering tech startup. While he carries the Uriach legacy forward, Pepe has chosen a path distinct from family boards, aspiring to make his mark while staying connected to his roots.
