Shanghai, November 28th 2018- CCBTrust received the Best Family Trust Product/Service in Wealth and Society in Chinaaward at The Global Wealth and Society Awards 2018. The award ceremony was held in conjunction with the Wealth and Society China 2018, at the Waldorf Astoria, Shanghai.

The London-based Global Wealth and Society Awards Programme seeks to recognise high and ultra-high net-worth individuals who use their wealth to bring about positive impacts on the society that they operate in, and the institutions that help them do so. Recipient of these awards underwent a stringent and comprehensive evaluation process, demonstrating the verve to deploy wealth in ways to bring about positive impacts on the society and at the same time make positive financial return on client investments.

CCB Trust introduced innovative family trust product design with a full range of diversified services

CCB Trust was the first company in China to provide family trust services and launched the first family trust product with RMB100 million(USD14.4 million)in April 2012. The family trust service provided including but not limitedto marital property segregation, family member protection and stepfamilies property distribution. In addition, CCB Trust have created new innovative products and services in the form of arts (collectibles) heritage trust, life insurance trust and charitable trust. As of June 2018, accumulative total asset reached RMB30 billion (USD4.3 billion) for more than 800 families.

CCB Trust is one of the earliest trust companies in China offering family trust business and has been in the leading position for years. The family trust team consists of private bankers, lawyers, certified accountant, tax specialist, as well as wealth management experts from CCB Private Banking Division. By the end of 2017, CCB Trust net assets were RMB11.54 billion (USD1.66 billion), assets under management (AUM) reached RMB1.41 trillion (USD203 billion)with net profit RMB1.85 billion (USD267 million).

CCB Trustlaunched a charity trust event called "Hear the Future" with CCB Shanghai branch to donate investment returns to Shanghai Children's Fund, providing support for children from poor families who need cochlear implants. In addition, CCB Trust family trust started a high-end training programme called "Future Elites" in early 2018. The program is highly customized and diversified in contents in order to better prepare younger generations to successfully take over their families' business and responsibilities. The contents include lectures on current macro-economic analysis, art appreciation events, well-known enterprise visits and so on.
