The Walton Family Foundation work in three areas: improving K-12 education, protecting rivers and oceans and the communities they support, and investing in their home region of Northwest Arkansas and the Arkansas-Mississippi Delta. The mission of the foundation is tackling tough social and environmental problems with urgency and a long-term approach to creating access to opportunities for people and communities. While the vision is to live in a world where people can accomplish anything when they have opportunity and encouragement.
