The Wealth and Society 2018

The wave of high net worth individuals spreading in major cities across the country brings China a new era of wealth and social responsibility. Young entrepreneurs and business women are emerging at a rapid pace and younger HNWIs are the driving force behind the growth in philanthropy and sustainable investing.

The Wealth and Society 2018 held in Shanghai, China got to an insightful start with the opening session underlining the importance of creating value for both business and society. Panellists of the session include Dr. Harley Seyedin, a thought leader and winner of the 2017 Oslo Business Award, Dr. Tzu-Kuan Chiu, Professor of Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance - Master of Finance, Shanghai Jiao Tong University (上海交通大学) and Steven Zhang, Chief Economist and Head of Research from Morgan Stanley Huaxin Securities. The session chairs, Gordian Gaeta and Pan Xilong discussed current stage of ESG investing in China, social responsibility, impact investing and philanthropy in wealth management industry.
