5 min read

Bank of Singapore has appointed two private bankers in Dubai, expanding coverage of high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients across the Middle East and South Asia.

The new appointments are: Yasser Soliman, who joined the bank on 12 October 2026 and reports to Hani Alnabulsi, Market Head for the Middle East and Global South Asia.
Amit Bhasin, who relocates from Bank of Singapore’s Singapore office to Dubai on 16 November 2026, will report to Chetan Mehra, Market Head for the Middle East and Global South Asia.

Soliman has more than 30 years of experience in the financial industry, spanning private banking, wealth management and business transformation. Prior to joining Bank of Singapore, he was Head of Private Acquisition at Mashreq Bank Egypt.

Bhasin has been with Bank of Singapore since 2022 and has spent over two decades covering HNW and UHNW families across India and Singapore. In Dubai, he will support the continued expansion of client relationships across the region.

These appointments form part of a sustained talent build-out in Dubai under the leadership of Lim Leong Guan, who was appointed Head of Private Banking, Middle East, Global South Asia & International and Chief Executive of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Branch in July 2026.

Together with the appointments of Mahesh Ramakrishnan and Shikhy Chandhok announced in August 2026, they further strengthen the bank's client coverage capabilities and reinforce Dubai's position as a key hub alongside Singapore and Hong Kong.
