BPI Wealth adopts BlackRock’s Aladdin to strengthen wealth capabilities
BPI Wealth, the asset and wealth management arm of the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), announced the selection of BlackRock’s Aladdin® investment and wealth management platforms as part of its efforts to strengthen and future-proof its asset and wealth management capabilities.
The move represents a significant milestone in BPI Wealth’s strategic transformation, reinforcing its commitment to delivering world-class advisory services, data-driven insights, and scalable investment solutions to its growing client base.
The Aladdin platform will enable BPI Wealth to integrate sophisticated risk analytics, portfolio management tools, and operational workflows into a unified system. It allows for better management of complexity across multi-asset portfolios while delivering more precise, timely investment insights for clients’ onshore and offshore managed portfolios.
Maria Theresa Marcial, president and CEO of BPI Wealth said, “Selecting Aladdin marks a pivotal step in our journey to elevate our wealth management capabilities to global standards. As client expectations evolve and markets become more complex, we recognise the need for institutional-grade technology to support tailored solutions for high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutional investors. Through Aladdin, we are building a stronger foundation to deliver differentiated solutions, deepen client relationships, and expand our capabilities across both traditional and alternative investments.”
BlackRock’s Aladdin platform supports a broad ecosystem of financial institutions worldwide, managing risk and investment processes at scale. Through this collaboration, BPI Wealth joins a global community of asset managers leveraging sophisticated infrastructure to improve investment outcomes.
James Verner, head of APAC Business Development for Aladdin, BlackRock, said, “Clients are increasingly seeking cross-border investments with rising expectations for consistency, transparency, and operational resilience. We are proud to support BPI Wealth as they advance their technology capabilities and expand their wealth presence. By bringing Aladdin Enterprise and Aladdin Wealth into a connected ecosystem, they can better equip their teams to deliver more personalised client experiences at scale.”
