Goldman Sachs names Evan Kotsovinos asset and wealth management engineering head
The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. has announced that Evan Kotsovinos has joined the firm as a partner and head of asset and wealth management (AWM) engineering.
In this role, he will work with teams across AWM, leveraging the broader Goldman Sachs engineering capabilities to deliver innovative solutions that enhance investment performance, elevate client experience, strengthen risk management and optimise operations.
He joins from Google, where he was head of privacy, safety and security, and led key efforts in artificial intelligence (AI) safety and security while driving the strategic transformation of Google’s data protection capabilities. Prior to joining Google, he was head of technology infrastructure for American Express and held several engineering leadership roles at Morgan Stanley across Europe and Asia.
Evan holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge, and earned a Masters in Finance from London Business School and a BSc from the University of Crete.
