VestGen secures growth capital to accelerate wealth M&A
VestGen Wealth Partners has secured growth capital from Willow Tree Credit Partners to expand its acquisition strategy, building on the integration of 19 advisory firms with $8.5 billion in assets while addressing adviser succession.
Willow Tree has a proven track record investing with large-scale wealth management firms and is well-positioned to support VestGen’s ambitious growth goals.
“After launching only two years ago and successfully integrating 19 firms representing $7.5 billion in assets primarily in the Midwest, access to institutional capital will allow us to continue our aggressive growth strategy,” said Jason Hanavan, CEO of VestGen. “Willow Tree is the right partner to help us fulfill our vision and continue our momentum in the quickly consolidating and evolving independent wealth management space. We have achieved tremendous success in a short time and look forward to even greater things in the near-term that will set us up for long-term success.”
Tim Lower, Founder and CEO of Willow Tree, added: “We are excited to partner with Jason and the VestGen team. They have built a scaled platform and shown a disciplined ability to source, close and integrate high-quality firms. We are pleased to provide flexible capital to support their acquisition strategy and look forward to a long-term partnership.”
